Dear CCEAM Member,

In these challenging times CCEAM is exploring ways to help support the education community to continue to do their important work. As one of the oldest journals in the educational leadership field, International Studies in Educational Administration is well positioned to make an important contribution and so we are devoting two of the 2020 issues to focus on responses to the pandemic that is currently gripping our world.

Submission Focus:
We are inviting short articles that either describe country or more local responses to education during the pandemic, or short articles that provide educators with knowledge to help them lead their educational organisations during this time. These will not be empirical research papers, but rather informed opinion pieces documenting personal observations of local educational responses to the pandemic crisis, or about key leadership and management ideas that will help educators lead through the crisis. The papers are not limited to any education sector: pre-school, school, post-school, tertiary, other education providers can be included. Responses from any country are welcome – it is important to know how different countries are maintaining educational services. Papers exploring leadership ideas that help in times of disruption and crisis are welcome.

Submission Criteria:
The papers should be between 1,500-3,000 words only, and include relevant references
The journal is published in English and adopts a referencing style that is close to APA
– refer to the journal website,
All papers will be reviewed and published as full journal papers, and all authors will be given copies of their individual papers to be freely distributed as they see fit.
